Welcome to Viddykid.com

I joined up with London's Family Editing in 2008 where I am based for commercials and music videos. Check them out, they're very lovely people and have some of the nicest cutting rooms in London.

I am also represented by Andrew Naylor at United Agents for film, drama and documentary as well as music videos and commercials. You can check out my CV here.

I'm fully versed in Avid and Final Cut Pro and I'm just as happy editing on set or at your office if you can't get to me at Family. I'm also well versed in transcoding, editing and conforming file based formats such as the Red or 7D.

I was recently nominated for 'best edit in a video' at the UKMVA's 10 for Laura Marling 'Rambling Man' directed by Pulse Films Fred & Nick. Coming from her Mercury nominated acclaimed second album 'I speak because I can' 'Rambling Man' was also shortlisted for best music video at the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival. This followed on from my nomination at the UKMVA's 09 for Delphic 'This Momentary' directed by the obscenely talented and possibly the nicest man in music videos, Dave Ma, also at Pulse Films. This was our first collaboration together and since then we've done videos for The Horrors, Lost Valentinos, Delphic (again!), and Foals.

Coming soon will be the fourth instalment of Fred & Nick's 'Gentlemen Of The Road' documentary following Mumford & Sons last two years on the road and the new video for Elisa Doolittle 'Skinny Genes' for RSA Films James Copeman.

Other notable recent music videos include Bon Jovi 'Superman Tonight' for Phil Griffin @radical, 'Watercolour' and Witchcraft' the first two singles from Pendulum's huge new album, 'The Cave' and 'Roll Away Your Stone' from one of the biggest selling British albums of the year Mumford & Sons 'Sigh No More' again for Fred & Nick.

On the commercial front I've been working with the rather wonderful Tim Pope ( I would have called him a legend, but he's not keen on being called a legend, or so he says!). Keep an eye out for our new 'Strictly' themed BBC One ident, I'll post it up soon. Previously we've done spots for the BBC's Ashes to Ashes 'The 80's are back' and also last years BBC's Dr Who themed Christmas Ident featuring David Tennant.

I'll also be updating my new Drama section soon. I'll be adding clips from 3 seasons of BBC One's 'MI High' produced by Kudos and from Shane Davey's award winning feature 'The Horror Of The Dolls'. More info soon.
